Photographer Bio
Carissa Hosey has been a fine artist and photographer beginning in 2003.
Her experience began taking classes and working in a darkroom for Upper Columbia Academy in Spangle, WA.. She then moved on after graduation to Walla Walla University and continued her study of Photography and Fine art.
She worked as a teacher's assistant at the University for the darkroom again, while gaining a Bachelors of Arts in Fine Art and Photography Minor through Walla Walla University in 2009. In her studies she discovered the world of digital imaging, Photoshop techniques, as well as visual arts such as video production.
Carissa also has worked for Alaska Camps from 2003-Present as the camp photographer/video production.
She has also worked as a Cabinet Designer and Interior Photographer for The Carpenter's Shop from 2009-Present.
Weddings, Portraits, Landscape/Nature, Abstract and Photojournalism are her passions in photography, however, she also enjoys many other types of visual art. Pottery, painting, sculpture, and video production are her other loves.
